Motivational Monday | Week 9

Alright M'dear?

It's Motivational Monday time!

Courtesy of weheartit.com

I really liked the image above because I think that it's something that we all do from time is compare ourselves to the latest celeb or reality star.
I know I do.

It's one of those things that we sometimes, can't help but to because there's always these images of skinny models on magazine covers and as women/young women, we automatically compare ourselves to them. It's not right.
We need to learn that we are all different, but that's not a bad thing. If we were all skinny models, it'd be a very boring world.

I am currently eating healthier and even just eating healthier, I feel more confident because I know that I am doing something for my health which I will still appreciate in years from now.

Usually, I do little resolutions of the week, but the only resolutions that I have this week are to eat healthy.

What's are your little resolutions?

Benefit's Fake Up | Review

Hello you lovely lot!
How are you's all? Good, I hope.

Recently, I made a few purchases on feelunique.com, which I love.
One of the offers was to get a free sample of Benefit's newest concealer - 'Fake Up'.
So, I thought I'd do a mini review of it.

The little sample of it, shown below, explains how the product is different.

My initial thoughts were, it is slightly orange. When I seen it on Benefit's website, it looks fairly brightening and light, however, it's the opposite. I got it in Medium and quite frankly, it is far too orange for me. I am an ivory in Benefit's Hello Flawless.

The one good thing about this is the formula. It is really moisturizing and it does not crease, which is so important when choosing concealer.

Overall though, I do prefer Benefit's 'Industrial Strength' concealer.
This concealer isn't great for matching to skin tone and doesn't really conceal under-eye circles but, perhaps in a lighter colour, it may work better.

Have you tried this?

Miss Glossybox | A New Edition.

Hello Lovelies,
I hope that you's are all having a lovely week.

I was recently resubscribing to the lovely Glossybox to try it out because, as many of you's know, I have already subscribed to Birchbox and I want to compare both.

When I was browsing around the Glossybox website, I noticed they had a new beauty box - Miss Glossybox.

Miss Glossybox is for the younger beauty lover.
The box itself is a little more daring with the packaging as you can see - It's bright neon. It's only £7 for the box, including P&P.
The only downside is that it's not every month - It's every 2 months, however, if you want something that's pretty cheap (Considering the quality of the products.) and is for the younger beauty lover, then this is for
you.

The regular Glossybox is still available, as well as Miss Glossybox.

What do you think?

Motivational Monday | Week 8.

Hello there you lovely lot,
I cannot believe that it's Monday again already!

Courtesy of weheartit.com

I really liked this photo. I think it's because the entire reason why I started Motivational Monday was because of that exact reason: A fresh start.
I liked the idea of every Monday being a positive thing, because, many people think 'Oh, Great. It's Monday tomorrow.'.
That isn't necessarily a negative thing.

My little resolutions this week are:

Be More Appreciative - I think that we all sometimes forget how fortunate we are because life sometimes gets in the way. The saying, "Stop thinking about what you don't have, and start appreciating what you do." is so relevant. I feel like I need to start appreciating my family more, as well as everything else.

Capture Moments - I am going to a concert soon to one of my biggest idols and inspirations and I am determined to capture every moment. I want to be able to look back in years and remember every single moment, even if that's just standing in the line for the concert. I want to remember everything.

Alrighty, well - these are my little resolutions..

Until next time..

No.7 Exquisite Curl Mascara | Review

Hello Lovelies,

I hope that you’s all had a lovely week – Today’s blogpost is going to be a review.
I’ve been reviewing a lot of products recently so, if there’s any products you want to see reviewed, let me know.

So I recently bought the No.7 Exquisite Curl Mascara and I thought that I would review it for you lovely lot!
I had heard a lot of good things about this before I had even bought it, so I knew that it was going to be good. Essentially, it is a very good mascara.

The applicator itself is rounded which means that it grabs each lash and almost curls it, as well as obviously volumizing your lashes.

No.7 is also pretty affordable – so it won’t break the bank. Considering the packaging is so beautiful, it is a really great product. The main thing that sold me on this was the fact that it never clumps, even after 3-4 coats of mascara, it just does not clump. It’s amazing.

I’ve had mascara’s before which were great for volumising lashes but, clumped terribly – Benefit’s Bad Gal Mascara, for example, was a great product but clumped after 1 coat of mascara.

Overall though, it is a great product, considering the price, and quality, I would recommend this to anyone.

Motivatonal Monday | Week 7

Alright M'Lovelies?
It's Monday again and you know what that means :)

This week I've been on a mission - A Spring Clean.
Yesterday, I finally finished cleaning/redecorating my room and I think that I am finally happy with my room.
I love Spring cleaning. I think it's because when I Spring clean, I empty out all of my make-up and I always see something that I once loved (Usually a lipstick!) and then I go back to that product.

This week's little resolutions are:

1. Eat Healthier - As it's Spring, it's getting to the kind of weather for Salads and BBQ's. I want to begin to eating less pasta and more salads, just little changes like drinking more water.

2. Plan - I am awful for arranging things. I want to start planning what days I plan for blogposts, what day I clean etc. I want to be able to arrange days out with the family.

What's your little resolutions?

Fave Spring Nail Polishes

Hello Lovelies,
I hope that you's are having a good day!

Since it's technically Spring, (Although I am sitting here looking out at a very dull day), I thought that I would talk about my favourite Spring nail polishes.
I am loving corals and pink/purples for Spring and these are brilliant for everyday.

L'Oreal Colour Riche - The first 2 nail polishes are the same collection in different colours. They're L'Oreal's Colour Riche in 'Dating Coral' and 'Boudoir Rose'. I love the formula's of these - They're so easy to apply, are so pigmented and the colour range itself is brilliant.

Maybelline Colour Show - I love this colour; It's a fuschia colour with undertones of blue. It's so beautiful and the formula is really good too - I love it becuase it's true to the colour and is so pigmented. P.S. There's no name on the packaging, but you can't miss it.

Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish - I'm starting to try to put on a topcoat. I am terrible for waiting for my nails to dry so, hopefully, this will help.

What's your favourite Spring/Summer nail polishes?

Motivational Monday | Week 6.

Hello lovelies,
How are you's all? I hope that all of your Easter's were lovely!
It is finally beginning to look more like Spring.

This week I've been Spring cleaning - I've been cleaning out all of my clothes (Maybe making a few online purchases, as well!) and cleaning everything.

Courtesy of weheartit.com

Alrighty, so my little resolutions are:

1. Sort out everything - This may need to be explained (Just slightly..). I want to sort out the decor in my room, my Spring clothes and especially my Make-up and Jewellery storage. In general, just get ready for Spring.

2. Get out more - I want to start going out while it's sunny because living in the U.K. means a limited amount of nice sunny days so, I'm going to make the most of them.

I hope that you's are all having a lovely week.
I have some good reviews on their way, until then..

A.
