Travelling light.. | My Travel Make-up Bag

Before I even start today's blogpost, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! It's greatly appreciated!

Now onto today's blogpost! As some of you's may know, recently I went away for my birthday and part of that means rationing what beauty products I bring with me (Which is easier said than done!).

So, here is a sneak peek into my Travel Make-up bag:

Birthday Weekend Away

I'm officially 19. I can't believe it.
I feel so old! Haha

Recently, I went away for the weekend as a birthday treat and I thought I would share it with you.
Be warned: This blogpost is picture heavy!

We stayed at the Culloden Hotel and Spa, which is located on the outskirts of Belfast and living not far from there, I've always drove by it and wanted to try out the spa but never had the chance. Until now!

When we arrived, we were greeted by this. Wow!

Our room was beautiful! This was the executive suite as we were upgraded. I loved it!

I may have gotten a little excited when I seen the White Company samples!
The hotel left me a little rubber duck with the hastings logo on it. So cute!

We decided to order some lunch. I got an Egg, Mayo and Spring Onion sandwich on white bread. It came with olives and Crisps. It was delicious!

That night, we went out for dinner and of course, I forgot to photograph the food or my makeup but I'll post a few pictures on my Instagram if you want to know what make-up I was wearing! After that, I sat watching the night pass and seen the Stena Line coming into Belfast harbour!

The next day (Sunday), it was my official birthday! I opened cards and just relaxed!

We decided to start of the day right so we went for breakfast, then had a walk around the grounds of the Culloden, as the previous day hadn't been great weather-wise!

After that, we went for our Spa treatments. I had a full body massage and it was amazing!
I may have purchased a few skincare products from the spa too....
Blogpost coming soon! Haha

Overall, I had an amazing 19th Birthday and it was just perfect!

What would be your idea of a perfect birthday?

Palette Problems

Palettes are my weakness.
Ever since I got into make-up, I have always gravitated towards palettes. I think it's because you can get so many different looks from one palette. (That doesn't stop me buying more than one!)

Today I thought I would talk a little bit about my favourite palettes and why I love them.

'Miss KG by Kurt Geiger' Trainers | Fashion Favourite

Usually when I go to Debenhams, I tend to gravitate straight towards the makeup counters however recently I went to do some sales shopping and thought I'd have a look at the Shoes section.

Well, it had me at hello.

I found this gorgeous pair of 'Miss KG by Kurt Geiger' Wedged Hi-Top Faux Suede Trainers and have fallen completely head over heels (Excuse the pun!) in love with these that I couldn't not share!

New Year! New me?

I've never been one of those people who say, "New Year, New Me" but I thought it would quite interesting to look back this time next year and see if I accomplished some New Year's Resoltuions (If any!).

So, here it goes. Here are a few of my goals for 2014:

Loose Weight: Ahh, the cliche resolution. I would like to loose some weight and hopefully, that'll give me a boost of confidence!

Organise: I am terrible for pre-planning anything. Blogposts, hairdressers, meeting up with friends, ANYTHING. The main thing is to schedule my blogposts, and uploads to my channel because it makes life so much easier!

Decorate: I have been wanting to re-decorate my room for the last few months and am determined to sort that out! A new office desk is due!

Anxiety be gone: I want to definitely stop letting my anxiety get the worst of me. 2013 was a year with bad anxiety and a lot more palpitations, so I want to make that not the case this year!

That's about it, in terms of resolutions!
They're probably all very cliche but they're the goals I hope to accomplish!

What are your New Years Resolutions?
