Travelling light.. | My Travel Make-up Bag

Before I even start today's blogpost, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! It's greatly appreciated!

Now onto today's blogpost! As some of you's may know, recently I went away for my birthday and part of that means rationing what beauty products I bring with me (Which is easier said than done!).

So, here is a sneak peek into my Travel Make-up bag:

Benefit's PoreFessional Primer - I've had this for about a month and absolutely love it! It definitely makes my make-up last longer, minimises pores and generally, smooths out the skin. A must-have for my oily skin!

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation - Again, a recent purchase of mine as I've heard so much about this. It's a fairly yellow-toned foundation with a medium coverage which is perfect for me as I have quite a lot of natural redness in my skin so, this cancels it out!

MAC Studio Fix - Setting make-up is a must, regardless of skin type. This locks in the foundation well and gives a really nice matte finish.

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer - This is a great concealer for on the go as it's small, light and easy to use! The one downside would be that the applicator is a brush which you can't wash and that means if you put this on more than one blemish, it may spread bacteria causing more pesky spots. Other than that, a great little concealer!

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Highlighting Pen - This is a dupe for the YSL Touche Eclat and having tried both, it is a fantastic dupe! The formula, colour and even the packaging is all incredibly similar and the quality is amazing! I use this on my brow bones, cheekbone and anywhere else that I want to give a natural glow.

Revlon ColourStay Cream Blush in 'Coral Reef' - This Winter, I have been all about cream blushes. This blush looks very daring in the packaging but when applied, leaves a 'Was outside in the cold' flush on the cheeks. Yes, that was the only way to describe it!

Bourjois Bronzing primer - When this product was first released, the entire beauty blogosphere went crazy over this as the only similar product in the market was the Chanel bronze universal and as much as I would love it, I couldn't justify it for the price. So, I bought this when it was first released and I really do like it. You have to be quite careful with this product as too much of it and you can look a bit orange but it can look beautiful in the hollows of the cheeks!

Urban Decay Brow Box is 'Brown Sugar' - Ever since I bought this little brow box, I have used it pretty much every single day. I would not use any other eyeshadow. I tend to use the lighter colour in the middle of my brows and the darker shade, on the outer corners of my brows. It also comes with setting wax - It's brilliant for keeping my brows in check!

MAC Quad Eyeshadow Palette in 'Smoked Cocoa' - Ahh, my little palette. I cannot explain my love for this. I have done so many different looks with just these four shades. It is honestly the best for travelling as it's so light and compact. The colours themselves are beautifully pigmented, blend easily and last well on the lids.

Maybelline 'The Falsies Mascara' - If you watch my beauty videos, you'll know that I'm one of the fussiest people when it comes to mascara but this mascara is great for night-time! I switch between this and the Maybelline Colossal Volume Express (For daytime) and I love them both!

Urban Decay Primer Potion - I've already ranted about how amazing this is before, so I won't go into too much detail but this will lock in your eyeshadow for a good 7-8 hours! It's pure brilliance.

Lips and others:

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107 - I always go back to this lipstick, no matter what. It's one of those dark burgundy shades that you will fall in love with. It's a matte finish yet, isn't drying. It's beautiful!

MAC LipGlass - As you can tell, I love a good red lip! This has a similar formula to Rimmel's Apocalips as it's a beautifully pigmented, creamy formula that almost stains the lips!

Lacome Rouge In Love Lipstick - I thought I should at least have a pink in the lipstick mix! This is a baby pink shade with undertones of pale blue and it's just one of those 'Barely there' lipsticks that if I have a dramatic/full-on eye look, this will balance it out. Really nice on the lips!

Real Techniques Brushes: I use the buffing brush for Foundation, and the stippling brush for cream blush, cream bronzers etc.

Wild About Beauty Brush - A small angled brush for filling in the brows or doing some eyeliner really close to the upper lash line!

So, that's what's in my Travel Make-up bag!
