2014 Rewind

It's became something of a tradition to do a Yearly round-up of everything that's happened the past Year.

Well, what a Year it has been! I surpassed 400 followers on this blog, which to me is kind of crazy! I couldn't believe it and am so thankful for each and every one of you, who read this little space - I feel like a little Fish in a very big Pond!

2014 was a strange one.

It had a lot of amazing moments like starting my new Job, as well as moving out of my family Home and into my own little Flat! It even seems strange to think about now! I felt like it was, in a way, my transition from Teenager to Adult.

I definitely felt that I needed to grow up and stand on my own two Feet, and let myself understand life a little bit more. When you're younger, you tend to have this illusion that everything will just work itself out and that things will just fall into the Palm of your Hands. I know that the majority of my friends though that too!

I have realised though, that one of the keys to success is hard work! ALOT of it. I'm going to try in 2015, to work my absolute hardest in Life, so that no matter what happens, I can honestly say that I gave 100%.

One of the best parts of 2014, was spending time with my beautiful Friends and Family. I've been able to sit back and actually cherish the little moments with my baby Cousins, who live over in England, so visiting them was amazing. No matter if they're overseas or just down the Street, I will continue to make time for my Friends and Family in 2015, as they're the one's who have kept me sane!

2014 also had some downers. I had a lot of anxiety, sometimes over stupid things! I've noticed that my self-esteem took a big knock this Year and I've not been taking care of my Body. I know it's a cliche Resolution, but I do want to focus more on my health and to get in shape!

All of that, along with battling depression and losing one of the most influential Woman in my life, I have found 2014, to have tested me..ALOT! I have to say, that upon refection, 2014 was actually alright! It wasn't amazing - Parts of it definitely was but for the most part it balanced itself out between the negative and positive.

I am so grateful for all the support that I got this Year, either from my Friends and Family, or you! Thank you for being part of my story!

Happy new Year guys - I hope 2015 brings you all the Love, Joy and Happiness in the World!

Lots of Love..

  1. Hi Amy. Lovely inspiring post. It's very hard to find a positive in difficult situations, I know 'been there, done that' etc. BUT it can be done and, like you, it's about keeping your family and good friends close. Enjoying their successes stops it from becoming all about 'you'. It gives perspective on life and space to grow and do good things.
I wish you all the best for 2015 and beyond. X
